Congratulations to the GIANTS!! (Sorry, all of my Pats friends and relatives...) What a Super Bowl!! It was an incredibly exciting game. Well played!
Oh - and Belichek - what a classless loser, as well as the other Pats players, who walked off the field before the end of the game. What , you couldn't even bring yourself to congratulate your opponent??
Now that I got that out of my system, I continue to hear more and more of how wonderful Obama is, without anyone really looking at his record or his speeches, which certainly contain some negativity against Clinton and McCain in them. Yet, he CONTINUES to be characterized as the candidate of "Hope." He seems to be more of the same, only with eloquence. Yet, people refuse to actually look at his RECORD. If Democrats do not look at it NOW, the Republicans will sure be looking at it before November, and I DO NOT WANT McCAIN to be president!! He is just more of the same Bush/Republican machine that got us where we are today! This is the man who said we could be in Iraq for 100 years!!!
Come on, Democrats! At least DO YOUR HOMEWORK on this guy before jumping on the bandwagon. LOOK at what he has done in the US Senate, and in IL. Look at his CLOSE relationship with Lieberman!! WAKE UP!!!!!!! If, after doing the work, you still support him, great! But don't just take this superficial campaign rhetoric at face value.
