The Bluegrass State...

So, things look mighty good for Senator Clinton in the Bluegrass State today. I always liked Kentucky, and not just for the horses, though that's a ig piece of it. I also have a wonderful sister-in-law from there, whose father is a State Democratic Representative, and got my horse because of a vet who rescued him moved to Kentucky for a fellowship, thus giving him to us. And now, it looks like it is solidly going for the best candidate in the field. And, Oregon is going to be closer than anyone ever thought it was going to be. Wow - amazing what just a little vetting can do. One can only imagine how things MIGHT have gone had Obama been vetted in the first place. Well, he wasn't, and all the buyer's remorse in the world won't change the current delegate count, but the numbers speak for themselves - the people are picking Clinton. Kentucky will be one more state making that clear.

And finally, people are starting to talk about the blatant sexism in this campaign. Well, yeah - it doesn't take a freaking brain surgeon or rocket scientist to see it, for cryin' out loud. What is REALLY funny, though, are all of the pundits who are NOW claiming they NEVER said anything about Clinton getting our of the race, or any of those horrible, sexist things! Oh, NO - not at ALL!!!! What a bunch of clueless, lying jackasses. I mean, really - there is VIDEO, for pete's sake!! You'd think people in the MEDIA would know that already. Sheesh!!!

Why do all of these people, including those in the DNC, think we are brain dead??? Now, I realize that there ARE some people in this country with pretty short memories, but there are a whole BUNCH of women, and men, who have memories that are just fine, thank you very much. We DO remember what these people have been saying about Clinton, and women in general, for the past nine months. And we WILL remember in November just who it was that operated from an arrogant, condescending, sexist pedestal, and those who did eveyrthing in their power, including disenfranchising 2.3million voters, to make this incredibly UNQUALIFIED candidate the Democratic nominee. We'll remember, and for many of us, our votes, our precious right, will not belong to Obama, should the powers-that-be not get their shit together at the Convention to support the candidate who can WIN in November. Oh, yes - we will remember. That is for DAMN sure.

And many of us will ALSO remember our own representatives who screwed the Clintons along the way. As far as I am concerned, it will be a cold day in hell before I EVER cast another vote for James Clyburn. Once he jumped fully on the bandwagon characterizing the Clintons - BOTH of them - as raging racists, he lost me. I have zero respect for him now - NONE. He threw them BOTH under the bus, after all they have done, their entire adult lives. I guess it's true what they say - no good deed goes unpunished. Uh, yeah. No freakin' kidding.

So, the Democratic Party has fully exposed itself for what it is, and by so doing has also lost my respect. Not just my respect, but my financial contributions. And even more importantly, it can no longer count on my vote. The Democratic Party has forgotten that it has to EARN our votes, and after the way it has treated its very base - women and workers - it has managed quite the opposite.

So, that's where we stand. Clinton is primed to win her fourth out of six contests, and all we are hearing about is Obama's premature coronation. Keep it up - keep up this misogyny and see how many MORE women (and men who support us) Obama will lose. And how many more of us the Democratic Party will lose, too.

Me? I am staying with the best candidate in the field, and I will CONTINUE to support her until the close of the Convention. It's Hillary or bust, for me. On to Kentucky.

Rise, Hillary, RISE!!
