Keep It Up!!!

Hillary Clinton has raised over $3.5 MILLION dollars since the polls closed in PA last night! If PA, TX, and OH are any indication of the money Obama has been spending (UNPRECEDENTED amounts in PA), she is going to need it! Great job, everyone!

And, CONGRATULATIONS to all who HAVE supported her, financially, by volunteering, by going to her rallies, by sending her positive messages, by sending her prayers and lighting candles for her - all of it has helped her to come this far. Her campaign is OUR campaign!!

So, dig deep - help her out. Let's make sure she gets all the way to the convention (though if they seat Florida and Michigan already it will not even be CLOSE), and can take the nomination!

I just heard McAuliff announced that Hillary has now raised $10 million and rising. That's almost as much as Obama spent to lose the election in PA. Go figure. ;-)

WOW!!! That is FREAKIN' AWESOME!!! Thank you so much for letting me know - oh, shoot - I just remembered that I could be listening into that phone call. Maybe I should go try to do that now (I wasn't sure I would be here).

Hey, how are you doing, ME? I have seen your comments over at TM - great comments, btw!! (I didn't respond because one of the threads already had over 500 comments!!)

Thank you for the GREAT news!!!!

Amy- Just heard that she is hitting 13M...but can't confirm it yet.

I'm doing fine, I miss writing on my blog, though. I have so much I could be writing about! The other blog, I'm working on a post, but struggling with it for some reason. I just can't concentrate on what I want to say. Writing about politics and fun stuff is easy, that spiritual and church stuff is a bear.

Do you go by Amy at Taylor's or RRAA like on the other blogs? I'll look for you when I'm there.

Hey!

Thanks for the update - I keep checking all of the major sites to see if there has been an increase, but hadn't seen anything yet. Wouldn't that be GREAT if she hits 13M, and BEYOND??

Did you see her interview with Joe Scarborough this morning on Taylor's site? It was GREAT!!! (Oh, and I go by RevAmy over there, btw!)

ME, I miss you posting, too. You have a lot of good things to say on this election, the DNC, and the whole enchilada, so it is a shame to not hear your voice. Feel free to write as much as you want here - you can send your trusted buddies over to read what you write, if you want.

And I TOTALLY know what you mean abt the difference writing political pieces v. spiritual/religious pieces...I think the latter tend to feel like they carry more weight, thus are more time-consuming to write because words need to be chosen carefully. And, spirituality is such a personal aspect of one's life that it can make one feel more exposed, or vulnerable. Given how some people in the blogosphere interact, it can be quite daunting, I would think...I know you will get there, though...(May I ask what your religious tradition is? I'm guesing Catholic - you know, the whole Flying Nun thing - and I LOVED that show!!)

Hi Amy- sorry it took me so long to get back.

I keep going back and forth on whether to just start back up on my blog. I'm going out of town next Wed. for about a week, so maybe I will when I get back. By then, the Indiana election will be over. I'll be stressing about that while I'm gone because I won't be able to make phone calls or anything for Hillary while I'm gone. I'm used to watching the election results with my son...he said he would text me the results as they come in.

My religion is Roman Catholic, as you guessed. A lot of people who don't know me are usually surprised to see what a conservative Catholic I am. I'm not totally fundamentalist ala Mel Gibson or anything. But I do belong to a more traditional church, complete with kneeler's. They even have Latin Masses every two weeks, I think. I never went to one (been there done that when I was a kid), but it's something they had to do because the new laws of Pope Benedict XVI says that if there is an interest, the pastor needs to try and make it happen. Some of the responses for all of our Sunday Masses are in Latin now, too. I have no idea why they started doing that. My son hates it because he doesn't know Latin. I'm used to it because our Masses were in Latin when I was a kid and I still remember some of it.

My whole nun persona is explained on my other blog, All There Is. I don't feel like that is really my blog, it was started by another girl, Two Crows, who asked if I would co-write it with her. I'm just getting started and only have one post up. It's more of an introduction as to who I am and that's where the nun thing comes in.

I'm finishing up a post on the Pope and should have that on the new blog by tomorrow mid-afternoon.

Ok, have to get some sleep. I've been burning the candle at both ends for the last two weeks and it's getting to me.

See you tomorrow.

Hey!

Thanks for taking the time to twll me abt your history - I enjoyed reading it!

And, just so you know, I will be out of town starting today until Sun., I think. I'm not sure because my partner has planned a trip away for my 50th birthday tomorrow and I have NO idea where we are going or for how long (except we are going up to my hometown, Charlotte, today, and leaving out of there tomorrow). So, if I don't get back quickly, you'll know why!

I was reared high church Episcopalian, so I totally get it. While we didn't have any masses in Latin, we had all of the smells and bells, as well as the kneeling. Oh - and up until I was in high school, when things changed and women in the Episcoapl Church could get ordained, I wanted to be a nun, and tested my vocation in two different convents. :-) (And one of the first ordained women, Carter Heyward, was from Charlotte! And yes, I know her.) I'll get over to the other blog to read up more (and I can certainly see that it doesn't quiet feel like your own)!

I hope you will get back to your blog after your trip. Once Indiana and NC are done, I think things should be less intense overall (though not necessarily with Obama's followers...). Anyway - I hope it is a FUN trip on which you are going!

I hope you got some rest!
