To Senator Clinton

Please go to Senator Clinton's site, hillaryclinton.com, and leave her a message of support. A form pops up as soon as you click on it. Here is what I wrote to her:

Senator Clinton, I am so awed by you - your intellect, your mastery of policy, and your strength. Most of all, though, I am awed by the compassion you show for ALL people in this country, and your desire to better the lives of us all. Your commitment to women and children, to the LGBT community, the African American community, the Hispanic comminuty, the Native American community...You see us. And we KNOW we are not invisible to you. YOU are the one we NEED to have as president. YOU are the one who can get this country back on track. YOU are the one for whom we have been waiting, wishing, and watching, to appear on the political stage. PLEASE, PLEAE keep going to Denver. I believe in you with all my heart, and I KNOW you will make the best president we have had in YEARS. Don't give up - don't give in.

You have faced almost insurmountable odds - machinations by the leaders of the very party to whom you have dedicated your public service; a vicious, and blatantly misogyinistic media that has stooped to levels I would never have believed (possible) just two years ago, showing all too clearly that sexism is alive and well in the USA (and a prejudice that is widely accepted, much to my dismay); and an opponent who has not stood up for you the way you have stood up for him, and who outspent you by a lot. And still...And STILL, you won the MAJORITY of the popular vote.* That should say something to EVERYONE with a brain - YOU are the PEOPLE'S choice! You are the one, the RIGHT one, for this country!

I am honored to have had even a small part in your campaign, to witness such an amazing candidate, and to have had the opportunity to see you in person. It is an experience I will NEVER forget...

All the way to DENVER, Senator! Stay strong - WE ARE BEHIND YOU!!!

* Senator Clinton has received more votes than any nominee ever.
