The Pink Glove Dance

Despite the recent Task Force To Find New Ways To Kill Off Women," aka, U.S. Preventive Services Task Force, many of us know the importance of early breast cancer detection despite their recommendations, by which they are still standing (in case you thought the hue and cry got them to back off). It doesn't matter that they weren't gynecological oncologists - they still think they know what is best for (I hope you don't think I am going to write "women") the financial bottom line.

Honestly, it is infuriating. Once again, if anyone needed any proof whatsoever the esteem in which women are held by this Administration, one need look no further than this "Task Force."

Screw 'em, that's what I say. Instead, let's put aside the negativity and misogyny flowing from those who could care less about women, and instead DANCE for women:

My partner and I are going out of the country for a few days on vacation. I'll be back early next week. See you then!

Oh Yeah! My favorite is the older gentleman with the broom rocking out! Thanks for this. I needed it.

I love that video.

As always, those Capitol Hill continue to ignore those of us who will suffer from this health care travesty that they are determined to pass. They feel secure that they will continue to keep their jobs as they lie to us and have the media do their "spin".

Thanks for pointing out that these panels are still intact and they will continue to throw women under the bus in order to save money for their precious health care and pharmaceutical lobbyists.

Hey, LM - I loved the older gentleman at the end, too - made me smile. Glad it helped!

Hey, Mary Ellen!

Thank you - it really is distrubing how they continue on, these panels sans doctors, to decide what/how/when women will be treated, with seem little regard for what the medical professionals have to say. And THIS is to what we can look forward for ALL medical care if this bill goes through...
