It's That Time Of Year

Yes, today is my birthday. I'm not sure what is on tap for today, maybe a party, maybe dinner with family and friends, I'm not sure. (We're out of town at the moment - I performed a celebration of marriage for one of my cousins on Sat. We're heading back home today.) One thing about which I am sure is that I'm taking the day off. Oh, and that I will have cake!

I hope you have a great day, and hopefully, you'll have some cake, too!

Happy Birthday! Yay!!!!!

Let's see...you're a Taurus which means you're cool, calm, and collective. I'm an Aries which means I'm a hothead. That's why you can write a post and make your point and still have friends afterward, unlike Nunly who has pissed off more people than I can count! :-D

Sorry I'm a day late, but that's the story of my life...a day late and a dollar short. ;-)

Not sure what to think of that but visions of my granddaughter "Liz" (Elisabeth) sitting around while I;m cleaning and organizing her closet comes to mind (what I spent an entire day doing last week)...that girl gets me every time! Doh!

Hey, ME!!! So good to *see* you again!! Yippee!!!!

Love the word - that is so, so funny. Does your granddaughter ever have YOU well trained!! Teehee!

Yes, I'm a Taurus alright (so is my partner), AND I was born in the Year of the Dog, which has very similar traits to Taurus. While I appreciate your kind words abt my posts and still having friends afterward, I would like to remind Nunly that she has a VERY loyal following, of which I count myself a member! I LOVE your posts, and have missed you while you were on your (much deserved) break!

Thanks - I had a good birthday, though hard since it was my first without my mom. My partner gave me the greatest gift - a card on behalf of my mom with all of the characteristics Mom and I share...It was so, so sweet (she gave me some other totally awesome gifts, but this one really touched my heart)...

Anyway - so glad to see you back!

Rev.Amy- Well, I'm still sorta on my break. I have a full schedule for the upcoming week, my brother from CA is coming in for a visit tomorrow. He's my oldest brother...my very very very old brother. Heh heh. I can't wait to have a full week of making his life miserable with bad jokes. :-D

Hmmm....that's the second time I got a word verification that came very close to swearing. Although my favorite one was "figoff". That one cracked me up! Maybe that's something Eve said to Adam when she was pissed off because he told her to fetch him some water.

ME, isn't torturing older brothers FUN?? :-D Sounds like you have a big week ahead of you, and I am sure you will make the most of it!

ROTFLMAO abt "figoff" - that is too, too funny! I love your "word verifications" - what a riot!

Have a great time with your OLD brother! :-D
